F30 ISO 1600 color "chrome" photo

This snapshot of umbrella decorations was taken in the kids section of the library with a Fuji F30 in "chrome" mode, which slightly oversaturates colors. The settings were 1/75, f2.8, ISO 1600, 35mm equiv.: 38mm.

Yesterday, Mike Johnston linked to the previous b&w ISO 3200 F30 photo on his well read blog, The Online Photographer, here: http://theonlinephotographer.blogspot.com/2007/05/tedm-fuji-f30-shot-at-iso-3200-click-on.html

Recently, there has been a lot of interest in high ISO P&S cameras, with an interesting recent article on dpreview by Simon Joinson here: http://www.dpreview.com/articles/compactcamerahighiso/

I really enjoy the ISO 3200 of the F30, but usually use b&w mode. It's time to keep trying the high ISO with color as well and see what works and what doesn't.
