deer prints?

Any ideas on what kind of animal was here?
Taken with Epson R-D1 and Cosina Voigtlander 28/3.5 Color Skopar lens.

I found a map of deer in NA:

Unless you have goats or pigs out running around near there, I'd guess it's a deer.

Thanks Lea, I was hoping it was deer and am excited. We used to see them every year until about 2 or 3 years ago when a new housing development came up between this lot and the hills.
Just a week ago I was chatting with a neighbor about how we missed the deer, which we used to sometimes see in families, 4 or 5 at a time.
We thought they were gone forever, but I guess they do still come down, but since no one sees them in the daylight, they must just come at night.
Somewhere I have photos of them, but it will take a lot of digging, more commonly I used to grab the video camera. Thanks for the link!
