Slate is almost one year old, and is getting along well with Gilligan most of the time. Taken with a Leica M8, with an old Leica 50/2 Collapsible Summicron from about 1954. Settings were ISO 640, 1/180, F2, focusing from about 1 meter on the cats right ears.

We got this raccoon tail last summer at an Native American Powwow in Idaho. We didn't know if the cats would like it, but Slate does. He sometimes puts it on the dry food dispenser when he's not playing with it. Gilligan doesn't care much for it. Slate has never hunted and has probably never seen a raccoon, so it's interesting that he seems to like it.
